Guided tour of the "Tiefen Stollen"
Get to know the fascinating underground world of the "Grube Wohlfahrt" mine in Hellenthal-Rescheid. An "all-weather destination" in the North Eifel! The "Grube Wohlfahrt" was operated as a lead ore mine from the end of the Middle Ages until 1940 at the latest. Guided tours of this underground world give you unusual insights into the history of the earth and the hard working life of the Eifel miners. In the "GRUBENHAUS", where the guided tours start, there is a small exhibition on mining in Rescheid.
