Forest bathing involves walking very slowly through the forest. In 2 hours you only cover about 2.5 kilometers, in 4 hours a maximum of 5 kilometers. It's not about sport or performance, but about slowing down, being mindful, opening your senses and benefiting from the healthy environment that the forest offers.
The forest itself has many positive effects on our body and mind. However, certain exercises and meditations are performed during forest bathing to support these effects. For example, exercises to deepen the breath, to relax, to open the senses or to relax the eyes. You can also take many of the exercises with you into your everyday life and use them there to reduce stress and promote mindfulness.
