The loop begins in Monschau-Mützenich, past the "Kaiser-Karls-Bettstatt" and over to the Stehling. From there, initially on the Eifelsteig trail into the fens and back over wooden footbridges through the moorland of the "Brackvenn" with beautiful views into the Monschau region.
