She is one of Ukraine's most prominent voices and invites you on a musical journey to remote Ukrainian regions. There she has collected pagan spring rituals, touching wedding songs and daring chants from the Carpathian Forest, centuries-old material that could only be preserved through local oral tradition.
She brings these musical treasures to the stage, using her expressive voice and Indian harmonium to transport us to regions that we could only imagine existed before her concerts. It is her insatiable curiosity, her sparkling energy and her desire to try out new and unusual things that turn her projects into exciting musical journeys.
As a singer and multi-instrumentalist, Mariana Sadovska is an internationally renowned and multi-award-winning artist. She has been awarded the German World Music Prize "RUTH", the Alfréda Radoka Award and the "creole" prize, to name but a few.
Her concert tours have taken her all over the world, including to Egypt, Japan, India, France, Italy, Armenia, Afghanistan, Great Britain, the Czech Republic, the USA, Switzerland, Ukraine, Turkey and Israel.
