We don't need a golden October to experience our blue miracle. The time is ripe to harvest sloes and other wild berries and use them to conjure up sweet and savory delicacies. The eventful day offers participants a combination of hiking, some aha experiences, harvesting, some preparation and gourmet consumption of unusual delicacies from Mother Nature before Father Frost enters the stage.
We try Eifel olives for a hearty snack and, if possible, prepare a small supply for the next season. A non-alcoholic sloe aperitif will delight us and those who want to warm themselves by the "sloe fire" on cold winter evenings will want to know how the spirit gets into the bottle. This and more will be the theme of the sloe delicacy day: a hike, snacks, tastings and, as far as possible, preparing the future delicacies ourselves. At the end of the day, over a cup of coffee and a slice of sloe cake, we will be happy to know what sensational delicacies we can surprise our guests with... Detailed information at: www.naturton.eu.
