Rangertour Kloster-Route im Nationalpark Eifel
Mar 21, 2025 - Jan 2, 2026
Heimbach
A ranger leads you first along the Heimbach reservoir and then along challenging paths through the beech forests of the Kermeter, a centerpiece of the Eifel National Park.
You reach Mariawald Monastery, the former abbey of the Trappist monks.
Here you can stop for refreshments and hike back to Heimbach with the ranger.
The route leads over steep and partly unpaved paths, which is why it is not suitable for baby carriages, wheelchairs, inexperienced hikers and children under the age of 10.
Hearing impaired guests can borrow a mobile hearing amplifier if they register in advance. Otherwise, it is not necessary to register for the free tours. We ask that larger groups of 10 or more people register in advance by calling 02444/9510-0.
