Ostereier färben mit natürlichen Materialien
Apr 17, 2025 - Apr 18, 2025
Mechernich-Kommern
Decorating eggs using old techniques for children and adults. The "farmers' wives" of the LVR Open Air Museum Kommern show how nature was used to dye Easter eggs in the past: Onion skins, red, blue and yellow wood as well as walnut shells are used to give the eggs colorations that are unknown to us today from Easter and "party" eggs. Museum visitors young and old are invited to join in. They can also make small transport containers for the eggs with the farmers' wives.
It is not necessary to register to take part in the Easter egg dyeing. Online tickets at www.shop.kommern.lvr.de.
