Yvonne Völl, born in 1972, grew up with horses in the Eifel from an early age and I am still a horse girl at heart. An outwardly aged, but still just as enthusiastic, sometimes unreasonable and crazy, horse girl. The texts in my books are all autobiographical with a little bit of artistic license.

Accompany me during the reading through various stages of my life, riding, loving and suffering in the everyday life of a horse owner: The book "Dara Mia - nothing happens without a reason" describes in diary form the growing together with the best horse in the world and at the same time the biggest challenge in my life. With funny, tragic and instructive stories, not without the necessary portion of self-irony and humor, I tell about the time when an unrideable horse I was given became my most reliable partner and the unusual paths I sometimes had to take to get there. "Who knows the goal, finds the way" is a loving memory of all the horses and special people who have accompanied me along the way. Individual short stories about curious incidents, adventurous and sometimes crazy experiences, with lots of passion, love and tears, in which many horse lovers and riders are sure to recognize their own experiences.

"The past determines the future" is a look back at my earliest childhood in my home country and my first contacts with the world of horses. It is a tribute to the animals and people who made it possible for me to experience and realize what I did in the book "Dara Mia". It honors all the horses that have already crossed the Rainbow Bridge and from whom I was able to learn everything that has shaped me.
