Author Rich Schwab played bass in the legendary cult band Schroeder Roadshow in the 1980s. His debut novel "Nie wieder Apfelkorn", published in 1992, is already considered a cult book by many fans, while the third, "Perlen vor die Schweine", was awarded the title "Best scene novel in years" by the Cologne EXPRESS.

"Folker und das Lied vom Tod" is now Schwab's sixth work, published in autumn 2024. Folker Schmittem, known as Folker, is once again a hero against his will and just keeps stumbling into unsavory criminal stories.
