Les Ducs - French for The Dukes - the pump?

We are, so to speak, the "Sultans of Swing" translated into gypsy jazz.
"La Pompe" is the rhythm beat that gives pieces such as "Minor Swing" or "Artillerie Lourde" their typical gypsy sound.
We also play hits such as "Sweet Sue" or "Hallo Kleines Fräulein", also in the La Pompe style. For quieter moments, ballads by Django Reinhardt are on the program, e.g. "Anouman" or "Nuages". We also play more modern pieces from the "Manouche" scene, "Place Du Tertre" by Biréli Lagrène or "Paquito" by Ninine Garcia.
In the "Gipsy-Bossa" section you will find representatives such as "Bossa Dorado" by Dorado Schmitt or "Made for Wesley". Standards such as "All of Me" or "Sway" are also included.
Purely acoustic, stimulating but not intrusive; for listening or swaying along - a somewhat different program for a good occasion.
