Monarch butterflies or the giant tubeworm?
There are rare and wondrous creatures in the world. Look closely, there is a lot to discover and experience when the actors transform themselves into new animals. With lots of humor, dance and theatrical magic, they take you into a world full of bizarre creatures with extraordinary abilities. How strangely does a gecko walk? What does the frogfish fish for? And what does a monarch butterfly look like? A journey of discovery for young and old!
For seven years, Bremen artists Johanna Schlösser, Miriam Röder and Michael von Schönberg have been delighting young theater audiences with their imaginative and movement-intensive performances with their collective Pretty Playful Productions. The collective combines the arts of dance, choreography, sculpture and performance art, which lend great expression to their work. Their work is characterized by an exploratory, interdisciplinary and interactively open attitude.
