Franz von Hahn, Johnny Mauser and fat Waldemar live on a farm. You can watch them for a whole day: The three of them are real friends. They help each other, have adventures together, play together and make important decisions, such as becoming pirates. Together, no problem is too big for them, the three of them are an unbeatable team. As different as they are, these differences are also useful: Johnny Mauser's little tail makes a great fishing line when needed. They swear eternal loyalty and share everything until they realize that there are limits. And so they fail to spend the night together at fat Waldemar's because of Johnny Mauser's sensitive nose. But they are united anyway, by day and in dreams, because real friends dream of each other.

Christiane Remmert slips into the role of Fat Waldemar and plays the story imaginatively and with a fine sense of comedy, so that the audience is delighted at the end to have met the three from the picture book in person. For children aged 4 and over and adults without an alibi child.
