Hermann Dick "Ein Leben für die Malerei"
Apr 19, 2025 - Jun 29, 2025
Blankenheim-Uedelhoven
Hermann Dick (born in Düsseldorf, died in Ahrhütte, Eifel) was a versatile painter who studied in Munich, Berlin and Paris
. His work includes impressive landscapes of the Eifel and other regions as well as expressive still lifes
and portraits.
Hermann Dick himself was never concerned with marketing his works, he had the creative urge and just wanted to paint. As a result, he never achieved the fame he deserved throughout his life.
This in turn offers our small country gallery the opportunity to show his work. Otherwise, art collectors all over the world might flock to him and we would no longer have the opportunity to experience and show his work up close.
Vernissage 19.04. at 16.00.
