Ausstellung: "future is liquid"
Mar 29, 2025 - Apr 27, 2025
Zülpich
The exhibition brings together over 200 works by young people from six schools in Zülpich, Bad Münstereifel, Weilerswist and Kall as well as participants in open workshops in Brühl. The works were created as part of the 721 yesterday - today - tomorrow project, which uses multimedia to explore the collective experience of the flood disaster in July 2021. Resilience is also addressed, particularly with regard to climate change and its global and local effects.
In their works, the young artists aged between 13 and 21 reflect on water as the basis of life, a threat and a symbol of change. In their individual perspectives, the young people make it clear that the future is not just a continuation of existing trends and developments, but remains open and can be shaped.
