Luciano - 3 Tenöre feiern eine Legende
Oct 11, 2025
Euskirchen
In 2025, one of the greatest opera singers of all time would have celebrated his 90th birthday: Luciano Pavarotti. In memory of this unforgotten artist, three exceptional contemporary choirs would like to celebrate their great idol by performing the wonderful arias and songs that made Luciano Pavarotti famous - one hundred percent live and without microphones. The program includes works by Verdi, Puccini and Donizetti as well as popular Italian canzonas. The selected titles include "Nessun dorma", "'O sole mio", "Caruso", "La donna è mobile", "Torna a Surriento", "E lucevan le stelle", "Funiculì, Funiculà", "Vesti la giubba", "Mamma", "Granada" and many more.
The three singers with powerful voices come from Germany, Spain and Italy to commemorate the tenor of the century in music. Johannes Groß from Dortmund is the head and founder of the German Tenors and is considered by many to be one of the last heroic tenors of our time. Oscar Marin comes from Barcelona, was a pupil of Montserrat Caballé and now sings all over the world, from Europe to China. Ricardo Marinello won the casting show "Das Supertalent" at the age of 18, but nevertheless continued his classical training afterwards and delighted audiences with his lyrical tenor voice - he recently caused a sensation on TikTok.
The program will be hosted by radio and television presenter Ulli Potofski. He will reflect on the varied life of Luciano Pavarotti with stories and anecdotes. The performers will be accompanied by keyboard virtuoso Claudia Hirschfeld, who created a musical tribute to Pavarotti in 2017 entitled "Luciano" on the 10th anniversary of his death, which has since won several prizes at composition competitions around the world.
