Zülpich
The start and finish of this cycle tour is the "Roman town" of Zülpich. The first part of the tour leads along the old town wall through the cathedral gate and the quaint town center of Zülpich. Before you have time at the end of the EifelRadSchleife to explore the town, visit the Roman thermal baths museum or see Zülpich Castle, the route first takes you out into the countryside.
This cycle tour not only impresses with its interesting highlight at the end, but also with its natural route away from the main roads. Relaxation is guaranteed here! On the way through the biotope complex north-west of the outskirts of Zülpich, the Neffelbachaue nature reserve, the Sievernicher Aue nature reserve and across vast farmland. The playground opposite St. Peter's Church in Nemmenich is an ideal stopover, especially for families with children. There you can relax in a cozy village idyll. Before returning to Zülpich, you can almost circle Lake Zülpich and visit the lake park.
The uniform signposting system consists of red junction signs and information signs at all important junctions and crossroads, providing a perfect orientation system along the way.
